By accessing and using SakuraVox Online School services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SakuraVox Online School. Your enrollment in courses or use of our platform indicates your acceptance of these terms.

Service Description

SakuraVox Online School provides online vocal coaching services, including structured singing courses, live one-on-one and small group sessions with bilingual coaches, on-demand lessons, and specialized training for J-pop, anime, and karaoke styles.

Our services include progress tracking, personalized feedback, flexible subscription plans, per-lesson bookings, and additional offerings such as corporate workshops and affiliate partnerships.

User Accounts and Registration

To access our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Users between 16-18 years old may require parental consent for certain services. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Payment Terms and Billing

Payment for services is due in advance according to your chosen subscription plan or per-lesson booking. We accept various payment methods and use secure third-party payment processors to handle transactions.

Subscription fees are billed automatically on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds are subject to our refund policy. Failed payments may result in service suspension until payment is resolved.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel individual lessons up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to charges. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds for unused services may be provided at our discretion, considering factors such as usage patterns, reason for cancellation, and time elapsed since purchase. Corporate workshop bookings have separate cancellation terms.

User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to use our services respectfully and professionally. This includes treating coaches and staff with courtesy, arriving punctually for scheduled sessions, and maintaining appropriate behavior during live lessons.

You are prohibited from recording sessions without explicit permission, sharing account credentials, using services for commercial purposes without authorization, or engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our platform.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided through our platform, including lesson materials, exercises, recordings, and methodologies, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.

You retain ownership of any original vocal recordings or compositions you create, but grant us permission to use them for coaching, feedback, and progress tracking purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Service Availability and Technical Requirements

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily affect service availability.

You are responsible for ensuring you have adequate internet connectivity, compatible devices, and necessary software to participate in online lessons. Technical difficulties on your end do not entitle you to refunds or make-up sessions unless otherwise specified.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy, including session recordings for coaching and quality assurance purposes.

Limitation of Liability

SakuraVox Online School's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claims related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so these may not apply to you.

Disclaimers and Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee specific vocal improvement results, as individual progress varies based on many factors including practice, natural ability, and commitment.

While our coaches are experienced professionals, we make no warranties about the effectiveness of our methods for any particular individual or the achievement of specific vocal goals.

Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to services at our discretion, including for violations of these terms, non-payment, or inappropriate conduct during sessions.

Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination of these terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in Tokyo, Japan, in accordance with the rules of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association.

Before initiating formal dispute resolution, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any concerns. Many issues can be resolved through direct communication with our support team.

Changes to Terms of Service

We may modify these terms at any time by posting updated terms on our website. Material changes will be communicated through email or prominent notice on our platform at least 30 days before taking effect.

Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree to changes, you may terminate your account before the changes take effect.
